STEMS operates 2 identical Frazer Type III ambulances. STEMS 204, based in Tuscola, is a 2007 Chevy and STEMS 203, based in Buffalo Gap, is a 2008 Chevy. Each ambulance has generator powered patient compartments complete with their own heat pumps, 12V lighting, and Halogen scene lighting. The patient compartments are completely independant from the cab and do not require any power from the engine. Both units are stocked for Basic Life Support, but are MICU capable.
